The geometric opportunities and the possibility of selecting different ones guarantee maximum flexibility<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fanlight<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The glass for the fanlight is positioned above the door or double doors: the shape can range from rectangular to half-moon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sidelight<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The glass in this case is positioned on the side of the door, positioned on a fixed, single or double door.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Choosing glass: providing light safely<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Safety glass is tested using characteristic resistance tests, regulated by the UNI EN 356 standard &#8221;Tests and classification of resistance against manual attack&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The legislation classifies safety glass based on the resistance to actions due to external forces. Two categories of glass are defined through two different types of tests:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">anti-vandalism glass<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">anti-burglary glass<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The tests used have the aim of verifying the ability of the sheets to delay, for a limited period of time, the access of objects and\/or people to a protected space.\u2028\u2028The vandal resistance performance is classified by means of the hard body drop test. A steel sphere of approximately 100 mm in diameter and a mass of approximately 4.11 kg is used. This is dropped from different heights and all three specimens used in the test must prevent penetration by the impact body.\u2028\u2028There are five classes for this type of test, from P1A to P5A, in ascending order of performance.\u2028As regards burglary resistance, the test used is the so-called ax test, in which all three specimens used must require at least the minimum number of blows established to create an opening.\u2028The ax head has a mass of approximately 2 kg and must be made of forged steel.\u2028For this type of test there are three classes, from P6B to P8B, in ascending order of performance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mister Shut uses glass that guarantees burglar-proof, acoustic and thermal performance.
