Condensation is a natural phenomenon that forms when hot air full of humidity comes into contact with a cold surface, with a temperature lower than the dew point, such as the wall, windowsill or window glass. This phenomenon must be analyzed and explored in depth already in the design phase. To keep the humidity level in your home under control, you can use special dehumidifiers or a hygrometer that checks the values in real time. However, the most effective (and simplest) ways to eliminate excess humidity are:
- Choice and configuration of door with thermal break frame (Our Entry and Planar products thermal break frame version)
- Door configuration with internal side architraves
- Place a gasket during installation between the frame and the subframe
- Ensure correct and constant air exchange in the home (an essential condition)
